Srinagar: An encounter broke out between militants and safety forces in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Monday, police stated.
The militants fired on a patrol social gathering at Lower Munda in the Qazigund space of the south Kashmir district, a police official stated.
He stated safety forces retaliated and the gunfight is happening.
The space has been cordoned off. Further particulars have been awaited.
