Former Arunanchal Pradesh Governor Mata Prasad died following multi-organ failure at Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGIMS) right here on Wednesday. He was 95 years outdated.
He was admitted to the hospital final night after being transferred from a personal hospital, an official stated.
Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu deeply mourned the loss of life of Mata Prasad.
In a condolence message, he stated: “My condolences on unhappy demise of former Governor of Arunachal Shri #MataPrasad Ji. In his demise, the nation has misplaced a devoted and honest administrator. I pray Lord Buddha for energy to his household to bear the loss. Prayers for the departed soul. Om Shanti!”.
Mata Prasad served as minister within the Congress authorities in Uttar Pradesh in 1988- 89 and appointed as Governor of Arunachal Pradesh in 1993.
