Says Kanika, “We don’t live in a perfectly egalitarian society and we’re surviving the lockdown in varying degrees of privilege. The motto of the initiative is to share a slice of that privilege with those who need it and to let no one sleep food-deprived.”
She provides, “I’m relieved that NamMyoho Daan and Phool Versha Foundation were successful in providing 40,000 people with ration kits. The kit includes flour, rice, daal, salt, spices and soaps enough for a family of four for ten days. We would really like to thank all those who are helping us take this initiative to the people who can help. We really hope more and more people come forward and help us help them.”
