Anti-corruption ombudsman Lokpal has bought an allocation of almost Rs 40 crore for 2021-22 to satisfy its institution and development associated expenditures, based on the Union Budget introduced on Monday.
The Lokpal was given Rs 74.7 crore for the continuing fiscal, which ends in March. This has now been revised to Rs 29.67 crore for 2020-21, it mentioned.
A complete of Rs 39.67 crore has been allotted to the Lokpal for the subsequent fiscal, based on Union Price range 2021-22 introduced by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman.
